Flying procedures will change soon at Camden Airport. Please refer to the Camden Tower Newsletter (which is available here) for full details. Thanks to Peter Wordsworth for supplying this important info.
Appin Aeromodelers Club will relocate to 450 Macquariedale Road Appin, 3nm west of the airfield on 1st May. Aircraft below 300 ft AGL in this area risk being hit by a model weighing up to 10 kg.
Our caretaker has advised that, despite to good rains and the lush growth in the surrounding forest, kangaroos are still coming onto the airfield to drink from our dams.
Not only do we need to keep an eye out when using the runway, but also when using our road, especially after dark. Numerous small flocks of ducks have been roaming the airfield taxiways and runway. Please exercise care during takeoff, landing and while taxiing to avoid these ducks.
Please don't damage our wildlife with your aircraft.
