Become a member of the NSW Sports Aircraft Club Inc. and enjoy the general experience of belonging to a club dedicated to the private ownership of aircraft and to the comradeship of the aviation fraternity. Wedderburn was founded as an inexpensive venue for members to fly, house their aircraft and fraternize with aviation minded people. And it continues to adhere to those principals today. So ideally it is the Flying Club there for your pleasure---- not simply a place to park your aircraft.
Membership Application Form
FULL MEMBERSHIP - for pilot licence holders (GA or Ultralight) or aircraft owners or builders whose prime interest in joining the club is aviation related. Apart from enjoying the benefits of getting to socialise with other like-minded individuals, Full Membership entitles you to:
- access the club facilities.
- participate in club events.
- hangar/build your aircraft on the airfield.
- receive the club's newsletter.
- full voting rights.
Once accepted to the club there is a probationary period before Full Membership is gained.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP - Associate Members have the same entitlements as Full Members, however this membership type is restricted to the spouse/partner of Full Members.
SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP - a person having purely social involvement with the club. Apart from enjoying the benefits of getting to socialise with other like-minded individuals, Social Membership entitles you to:
- participate in club events.
- receive the club's newsletter.
Note: if you have a pilots licence or own an aircraft you plan to hangar at the club’s airfield you must apply for Full Membership.
PENSIONER MEMBERSHIP - Pensioner Members are Full Members in possession of an aged pension card with all the entitlements of a Full Member.
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP - a person having purely social involvement with the club aged between 10 and 16 years inclusive. Apart from enjoying the benefits of getting to socialise with and learn from other like-minded individuals, Junior Membership entitles you to:
- participate in club events.
- receive the club's newsletter.

(4) Units are allocated at the rate of one unit per member, plus one unit or part thereof per 225 square metres of hangar space.
(5) This reduces to $212 if participating in three or more social work days per year.
